The Anglesey Agricultural Society are the proud owners of the Anglesey Showground, a 160-acre site. The showground is a superb site ideally situated in the centre of Anglesey, with easy access from the main road and the nearby seaport of Holyhead. The Anglesey Agricultural Society first began hosting annual shows in 1872. Over the years, the show has developed, adapted and grown to fit the changes in society. Today they run the main summer show as a two-day event every August.
