Blair Castle is set in Perthshire at the foot of the Cairngorms National Park, it is the heart of Atholl Estates which spans 145,000 acres. Blair Castle has a special place in a lot of people’s hearts and over the years has had many admirers and a lot of history entwined within its walls. Queen Victoria stayed in the Castle with Prince Albert during her reign many times before she bought Balmoral and it’s where she fell in love with Scotland.
The Castle is a 5* accredited visitor attraction with 30 rooms on display, the tour finishes in the hugely opulent ballroom adorned with hundreds of pairs of antlers. There is extensive grounds that are open to the public including Hercules Gardens, our 9 acre walled garden, Diana’s Grove which houses some of the tallest trees in the UK and also St Brides Kirk our ruined Kirk.
