Stunning cloud formations, dramatic storms and enchanting rainbows all feature in this year's shortlist for the Weather Photographer of the Year 2025 competition.
Now in its tenth year, the Royal Meteorological Society's photo contest showcases some of the most striking images of weather on the planet, while raising awareness of climate challenges such as flooding, heatwaves and cyclones.
From 18 September to 16 October, the public can vote for their favourite image. The overall winner will be announced on 30 October 2025.
