Design and Portability
Battery Capacity & Charging Speed
When I’m out for long days or heading off-grid, a reliable power bank is non-negotiable, and the Belkin Boost Charge 20K caught my eye because of its built–in cable. I’ve used plenty of power banks over the years, but I was curious to see whether this one could simplify my setup and keep everything topped up without extra cables. After testing it on a few weekend trips and long days out, here’s how it held up.
Design and Portability
One of the first things I appreciated about the BoostCharge was how tidy the design is. It’s not the lightest or slimmest power bank I’ve used, but the built–in Lightning cable makes up for that, no more rummaging around for spares or forgetting to pack one altogether. It’s solid and slightly chunky, but still slides into my backpack or tote without too much bulk. For something with 20,000mAh of power, I think the trade–off between size and capacity is totally fair.
While the integrated cable is a nice touch, it's only compatible with USB–C users, and it could also be a weak point. If it breaks or snaps it can't be replaced which would limit the usability of the power bank.

Battery Capacity and Charging Speed
With 20,000mAh of battery, this power bank has more than enough juice to get me through a few days of heavy phone use without reaching for a wall plug, which is really useful and a weight off your mind when camping. I can fully charge my iPhone multiple times, usually around 4 to 5 charges depending on what else I’ve got plugged in, and it will fully charge an iPhone 16 Pro from 0–50% in just 26 minutes.
The integrated Lightning cable is super handy and supports fast charging, so I can give my phone a decent boost in under 30 minutes. I’ve also found that the power bank can get from empty to almost full in a couple of hours, which is an improvement on previous ones I’ve reviewed. There’s also a USB–C and USB–A port, which means I can charge more than one device at once, ideal when I’m juggling a phone, earbuds, and a Kindle.
It's not got the biggest capacity on the market, but it's been great for what I've needed it for, three day camping trips and daily city use.

Ease of Use
This is one of those gadgets that just works–no fussing or fiddling. The built–in Lightning cable means I can plug my iPhone in straight away without digging through my bag for the right lead. The power bank switches on automatically when I connect a device, and there’s a clear LED indicator so I always know how much charge I’ve got left, and the extra USB–A and USB–C ports are clearly marked and easy to access. It’s simple, intuitive, and definitely designed with convenience in mind.
Value for Money
With a typical price range of £30–£45, this power bank strikes a smart balance between cost and performance.
Sustainability
Belkin has transitioned much of its mobile power range to use 73–90% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastics in product housings, cutting carbon emissions by up to 85% compared to virgin plastics. The company also aims for carbon neutrality in direct operations by 2025 and full supply chain neutrality by 2030.
Should You Buy It?
It’s a sustainable, fast charging, compact power bank.
