Meet The Team
FERGUS COLLINS, Editor
Editor Fergus lives in deepest Monmouthshire with his family, where his neighbours are farmers, buzzards and sheep. When not working on the magazine he keeps chickens, grows vegetables and attempts to live more self-sufficiently. Read all of Fergus' blogs on Moving to the Countryside. >

CARYS MATTHEWS, Digital Editor
Carys edits Countryfile.com and looks after the magazine's social media (find us on Twitter, Facebook & Instagram). She recently returned to the West Country from London and loves trail running, wild swimming, photography and travelling to Britain's wild and remote places.

TIM BATES, Art Editor
Tim has been with the magazine since its launch in 2008 and is responsible for its design. He spends his spare time chasing around his two year old son, who loves nothing more than putting on his wellingtons and going on adventures.

Production Editor Maria jumped ship from the Big Smoke for Bristol and loves paddleboarding, hiking and camping and all things seaside and spontaneous.
