Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2025: bellowing stag among 15 spectacular sneak-peek images

Glowing jellyfish, soaring bats and an elegant flamingo also feature in this stunning selection of preview images from Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2025.


15 breathtaking preview images have been unveiled as part of Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2025.

Wildlife Photographer of the Year, developed and produced by the Natural History Museum, London, is the world’s leading celebration of nature photography.

The winners of the Category Awards, along with the prestigious Grand Title and Young Grand Title, will be announced on Tuesday 14 October 2025 in a ceremony at London's Natural History Museum, hosted by wildlife TV presenters and conservationists Chris Packham and Megan McCubbin.

A public exhibition featuring 100 photographs will then open at the museum on Friday 17 October 2025. The display will run until Sunday 12 July 2026.
