Where is My Oxford Year filmed?
Filming took place in and around Oxford in autumn 2024, with specific locations including:
- Magdalen College
- St Hugh’s College
- Hertford College
- Merton Street – including the Merton Street Wine Bar
- The Bodleian Library and Duke Humfrey's Library – the Bodleian Library is one of the oldest libraries in Europe and the second-largest in the UK (after the British Library)
- Radcliffe Camera
- Bridge of Sighs and Magdalen Bridge
- The Sheldonian Theatre
- Lancaster House
Filming also took place in The Old Court Art Centre and King Neptune Fish & Chips, both in the royal town of Windsor. The Boat Race scenes were filmed at Hammersmith Bridge, London. The Tudor mansion Hatfield House, in Hertfordshire, was used as Jamie's family home – keen period drama fans will also have spotted it in Bridgerton and Emma.
