The title of the world’s tallest cow belongs to Blosom, from Orangeville, Illinois, in the US.
Blosom was owned by Patricia Meads-Hanson.
Measuring a mighty 190cm (74.8in) from the hoof to the withers, Blosom towered above other Holstein cows, who have an average height of between 145-165cm.
Holstein cows, which are also known as Friesian cows, originated in the Frisia region of northwestern Europe. They are commonly used in dairy farming.
Blosom passed away at the age of 13 in May 2025.
