NorthLink Ferries Competition - Full Terms & Conditions

1. The Promoter is Our Media Limited (company number 05715415) a company incorporated in England and Wales whose registered address is at Eagle House, Colston Avenue, Bristol, BS1 4ST.
2. The BBC Code of Conduct for competitions can be found at https://www.bbc.com/editorialguidelines/guidance/code-of-conduct and all BBC magazines comply with the Code.
3. The promotion is open to all residents of the UK, including the Channel Islands, aged 18 years. or older, except the Promoter’s employees or contractors and anyone connected with the promotion or their direct family members.
4. The closing date for entries is 23:59 on 11^th of December 2026.
5. By entering the promotion, the participants agree:
   1.  to be bound by these terms and conditions;
   2. that their surname and county of residence may be released if they win a prize; and
   3. that should they win the promotion, their name and likeness may be used by the Promoter for pre-arranged promotional purposes.
6. Entrants should enter by correctly answering the multiple-choice question hosted on Instagram or Facebook and supplying their name and email address. Entries received after the closing date of the promotion will not be considered.
7. Entrants must supply to Our Media Limited their name and email address. The Promoter will use entrants’ personal details in accordance with the Our Media Privacy Policy (https://policies.ourmedia.co.uk/privacy-policy/).  
8. Only one entry will be permitted per person, regardless of method of entry.  Bulk entries made by third parties will not be permitted.
9. One winner will win a North Links return ferry trip for up to four passengers. Trip includes:    
   1. One car;
   2. A standard four-berth cabin on overnight sailings; and
   3. Appropriate meals onboard.

10. Vehicle must be 6m or below in length. Any costs not expressly stated as included (including transport to/from departure ports, personal expenses, travel insurance and optional upgrades) are the responsibility of the winner. Any combination of eligible routes is permitted provided the winner returns to the Scottish mainland (or the island from which they originated). Meal vouchers will cover the meal or meals applicable to the sailing: an evening meal and/or breakfast on overnight sailings, or one meal on other sailings, depending on the sailing time. All ferries include options to buy food and drink. The winner must book by telephone and complete the return trip by 31 December 2028.
11. The winning entrant will be the first correct entry drawn at random from all the correct entries after the closing date.  The Promoter’s decision as to the winner is final and no correspondence relating to the promotion will be entered into. The Promoter may share the details of the winner with the prize provider for the purposes of fulfilling/delivering the prize.
12. The winner will be notified within 10 working days of the close of the promotionby email. If the winner cannot be contacted, or fails to respond within 28 days of such notification being sent, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to a runner up, or to re-offer the prize in any future promotion.
13. There is no cash alternative and the prize will not be transferable.  Prizes must be taken as stated and cannot be deferred.  The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of the same or greater value.
14. The surname and county of residence of the winner will be available upon request by sending an SAE to BBC Countryfile, Eagle House, Colston Ave, Bristol BS14ST within two months of the closing date of the promotion. The Promoter will contact the winner before releasing this information and provide the winner the opportunity to object or limit the amount of information shared.
15. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions or to cancel, alter or amend the promotion at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, or if circumstances arise outside of its control.
16. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility for lost, delayed or fraudulent entries.
17. The Promoter excludes liability to the full extent permitted by law for any loss, damage or injury occurring to the participant arising from his or her entry into the promotion or occurring to the winner arising from his or her acceptance of a prize.
18. The promotion is subject to the laws of England.
