This stylish long-sleeved crew-neck is a great outdoors all-rounder. The sporty look and feel made it an instant go-to once the weather got colder. It’s a snug fit without clinging, which is welcome if, like me, you don’t sport a six-pack. There’s a real feel-good factor pulling it on, the fit is perfect and it’s so comfortable I could probably live in it!

The Prelight Crew is made in Bangladesh from 100% recycled Texadri Stretch Fleece polyester, which gives it a great balance – rather than accentuate any curves, it stays close but allows me to move freely.
On my first outing, I immediately felt how warm it was, to the point that I was a bit concerned I was going to overheat once I got going. My concerns were in vain though, as I maintained a comfortable temperature, despite cycling pretty hard for 45 minutes.

After another test, this time hiking with a waterproof outer shell over the top, I found that within minutes of removing the jacket, the moisture that had built up wicked away in just a couple of minutes, leaving me feeling fresh and dry.
It washes well too, and still looks and feels like new after several washes.
In all honesty, I struggled to find any downsides. The pocket placement is interesting. Am I ever going to use a zip pocket on my chest in a stretchy base layer? It seems unlikely, but it adds a little something design wise so I’ll live with it.
Value for Money
With a RRP of £65, it’s probably a mid-range option, and as such feels like good value for money, as the quality is palpable.
