The popular TV show Ted Lasso returns for a fourth series in summer 2026. And while football coach Ted has finished coaching the A.F.C. Richmond team, he’s now taking on another challenge: coaching a second division women’s football team.

The show follows Ted Lasso, an American college football coach, who is hired to coach the fictional English football team A.F.C. Richmond. Its owner hopes that this will end in failure – but his alternative leadership skills prove otherwise.
Where is Ted Lasso filmed?
Ted Lasso is primarily set and filmed around London.
Richmond
As much of the show is set in Richmond, lots of filming is done around the London borough. One of the most recognisable locations is Paved Court – a cobblestone street full of shops and cafes – as this is where Ted’s apartment is. The Crown & Anchor, where fans of The Greyhounds gather to support their team, is The Prince’s Head at 28 The Green.
Some scenes are filmed at Richmond Green – a 12-acre park owned by the Crown Estate.

Selhurst Park, Croydon
A.F.C. Richmond play home matches at Nelson Road Stadium – but this technically doesn’t exist. These scenes are actually filmed at Selhurst Park – the real-life home of south London-based football team Crystal Palace F.C.
Kansas, Missouri, USA
The Ted Lasso cast were spotted filming in Kansas City for the fourth series, as Ted returned to his hometown to spend more time with his family. Scenes were filmed at CPKC Stadium, which is home to the team Kansas City Current of the National Women’s Soccer League.
Where can you watch Ted Lasso?
All series of Ted Lasso are available to watch on Apple TV. While we don’t know exactly when the fourth series will be available, it’s thought to be released in summer 2026.
