Who is Dan Snow?
Dan Snow is a British historian, TV presenter, podcaster and author. He has presented TV programmes such as Pompeii: Life in the City with Dan Snow, Operation Grand Canyon with Dan Snow and Hadrian. In 2022, he was part of the Endurance22 expedition that found Sir Ernest Shackleton's lost vessel Endurance in the Antarctic.
He hosts a history podcast called Dan Snow’s History Hit which is available on BBC Sounds. Dan Snow was awarded an MBE in Queen Elizabeth II's 2019 Birthday Honours for services to history, and is also an Honorary Captain in the Royal Naval Reserve.
