Originally made for Dutch TV (and titled De Verraders), the popular reality show The Traitors has since spawned several versions around the world – with one of the most drama-filled being The Traitors US.
Who hosts The Traitors US?
Scottish actor and musical theatre star Alan Cumming hosts The Traitors US, where he's known for his flamboyant hosting style – and even more flamboyant outfits.
Who is Lala?
Often referred to as the co-host of The Traitors US, Lala is Alan Cumming's beloved pooch. A true Faithful, she's known for peacefully observing the game's drama and back-stabbing by Cumming's side or from the comfort of her bed. Cumming and his husband adopted Lala from Costa Rica and they have spoken about the benefits of taking care of a dog (although it's worth noting that there are risks to be considered if you adopt a pet from overseas).

Where is The Traitors US filmed?
The Traitors US is filmed at Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands – and it's also the filming location used in the UK version of the series. Built in the Scottish Baronial style in the 19th century, the castle sits within over 100 acres of parkland. While you can't stay at Ardross Castle, you can hold a wedding there.

What's the difference between The Traitors UK and The Traitors US?
The main differences between the UK and US versions of The Traitors are the host and contestants. Claudia Winkleman presents the UK version, while Alan Cumming presents the US version. The Traitors US has used celebrities in all of its series so far, with a mix of celebrities and non-celebrities in the first season, and only celebrities in the seasons since. Whereas the UK version uses non-celebrities, with a separate The Celebrity Traitors series being released.
However, both the UK and US versions use the same filming location of Ardross Castle and frequently use the same challenges.
