Sophie is a zoologist, science communicator and upcoming author (Forget Me Not, published June 2022 by Bloomsbury). She studied in Bristol for four years, gaining a First Class degree in Zoology (BSc) and a Distinction in Science Communication (MSc). Her masters research investigating the efficacy of digital platforms for science communication is published in academic journal Frontiers. Since university, Sophie has worked closely with many British environmental NGO’s, helping them to reach new audiences. Alongside her communications role with Beaver Trust, Sophie is an ambassador for The Wildlife Trusts, UK Wild Otter Trust, and sits on the RSPB England Advisory Committee. She is also a keynote speaker and freelance writer. In her spare time, Sophie enjoys wild swimming at home in Devon, riding her bike and hiking on the south west coast path with friends and family.
