Shop bought body scrubs can contain harsh chemicals, and the single-use plastic bottles they come in can take years to break down. Here’s an environmentally friendly alternative that uses natural ingredients and jars that you already have.
You Will Need
- Granulated sugar (100g)
- Brown sugar (85g)
- Coconut oil (2 tablespoons), melted
- Vanilla extract (1 tablespoon)
Step 1
Combine the ingredients in a bowl and mix thoroughly.
Step 2
Transfer to a jar with an airtight lid and store in a cool, dry place.
To use the scrub, apply to wet skin in the shower. Rub in a circular motion, rinse away, and dry skin by patting with a towel.
