April 8th is Draw a Bird Day, so the BBC Countryfile Magazine team decided to move away from their keyboards and pick up pens and pencils instead. Here are our attempts - can you do any better?

What started as a young girl's light-hearted attempt to cheer up an ill uncle in 1943 has grown into an international competition. Not that this is seriously competitive - it's all about just having a go. But if you do fancy getting out the watercolours, then feel free to show us how it's done. All submissions are very welcome.
