The Traitors has become a worldwide phenomenon after debuting on Dutch TV in 2021 – and now we have a first series of The Traitors Ireland.

Who hosts The Traitors Ireland?
Irish actor Siobhán McSweeney hosts The Traitors Ireland. Although she's best known for her role as Sister Michael on the Channel 4 comedy series Derry Girls, she also presents The Great Pottery Throw Down. She also appeared on The Great New Year's Bake Off 2019/20 with her Derry Girls co-stars.
Where is The Traitors Ireland filmed?
The Traitors Ireland is filmed at Slane Castle, County Meath. Built in the Gothic Revival style in the late 18th century, the castle is the family seat of the Conyngham family. It's known for its sloping lawns, which create a natural amphitheatre, and has hosted concerts from artists such as U2 and Harry Styles.
Can you stay at Slane Castle?
If you want to immerse yourself in the full experience, apartments within the castle are available for overnight stays – with exclusive access to fish in the nearby River Boyne. You can also stay on its 90-acre organic farm Rock Farm, which has rare breeds. Slane Irish Whiskey Distillery is also situated on the site and is open for pre-booked tours.
