Countryfile Diaries will reflect country life witnessed through the changing of the seasons.  Stripped across a week to coincide with Countryfile’s Seasonal Specials, viewers get to see how each season affects the landscape, wildlife and the people who live and work in the countryside.

Countryfile ‘Spring’ Diaries will bring together the best of the season. Shooting as close to transmission as possible and with ‘as live’ links, the audience will feel like they’re experiencing all that spring has to offer from the comfort of their homes. The series will show how spring transforms the British countryside in all its glory.

John Craven will be joined by regular Countryfile presenter Jules Hudson.  Completing the team will be BBC Look North weather presenter Keeley Donovan and Paul Martin of Flog It as they offer viewers a deeper look into country life through the changing of the seasons.

Countryfile Diaries will air from Monday 16th May on BBC ONE at 9.15am
